Spinnaker Tower is a finalist for the Beautiful South Awards

We are honoured to be in the final four of the Beautiful South Awards Large Visitor Attraction of the Year category in the Beautiful South Awards.

The awards, run by Tourism South East, celebrate the cream of the crop of tourism, leisure and hospitality businesses from across the region. Gold, Silver and Bronze Award winners will be announced at a ceremony at the Grand Brighton on December 13th.

Tony Sammut, General Manager at Spinnaker Tower, said: “The Beautiful South Awards celebrate everything that is fantastic about our region as a place to live, work and visit, and I am thrilled that Spinnaker Tower has been named as a finalist in the Large Visitor Attraction of the Year category. I’m especially delighted for our team whose energy, enthusiasm and dedication provides outstanding experiences for our visitors every day.

“We are proud to be an iconic, must-see icon of the South that attracts visitors from far and wide, as well as having a unique position in the heart of the Portsmouth community – demonstrated with our residents’ discounts and the recent launch of our £25 annual pass which enables visitors to enjoy our ever-changing views time and time again.

“This honour also reflects our constant innovation and investment, as recently seen in improvements to our Café in the Clouds, the creation of our open-air Sky Garden, the redesign of our guest welcome area and accessibility improvements. We wish the best of luck to all our fellow finalists and are very much looking forward to the ceremony in December.”

Announcing the finalists, Fran Downton, Chief Executive of Tourism South East, said: “Congratulations to all our finalists. The Beautiful South Awards is a fantastic opportunity, showcasing the very best that the region has to offer. I wish them all the very best of luck and look forward to celebrating with them all.”
