Earth Hour

To celebrate the 10th anniversary of WWF’s Earth Hour initiative, we, along with other Continuum Attractions, have encouraged our teams to ‘switch off’ for an hour at 8.30pm on Saturday 25th March, and we’d like you to do the same!

About Earth Hour

In envisioning a future where climate stability and flourishing nature coexist with health, happiness, and prosperity for all, it is vital to act urgently. Without intervention, the world is on a trajectory to exceed the 1.5°C temperature increase limit set by the Paris Agreement by 2030. Human activities are depleting nature at an unsustainable rate, surpassing its capacity for regeneration. Failure to reverse this trend by the end of the decade poses unprecedented threats to all species, including humans.

The COVID-19 pandemic has underscored the societal destabilization caused by nature’s decline.

In this context, Earth Hour assumes vital significance. Earth Hour serves as a global reminder of our planet’s significance and the imperative to protect it. Each individual, no matter how modest their efforts, must feel inspired and empowered to contribute by switching off the electricity!

Above all, the movement sustains hope for a brighter future. Join the event today.
