New name for the Waterfront Cafe

Embracing its home, directly beneath this iconic Portsmouth landmark Spinnaker Tower, the new name for the Waterfront Cafe is the Spinnaker Kitchen & Bar!
Ideally located on the waterfront, our Spinnaker Kitchen offers a fresh café menu that differentiates it from the other dining options available nearby in Gunwharf Quays. After more than 15 years as Waterfront Café, the contemporary new name has been a selected to reflect the café’s use of locally sourced ingredients and range of lunchtime favourites. In addition to the ever-popular jacket potatoes, toasties and open sandwiches on offer, Spinnaker Kitchen’s Food & Beverage Manager, Tracy Pratt has introduced dishes reflective of the harbour location such as Cod & Prawn Fishcakes and the traditional British seaside favourite – Fish and Chips!

The Spinnaker Kitchen’s open plan dining area leads out on to a wraparound terrace – perfect for a spot of lunch during a shopping trip, or a glass or two of something cold and refreshing as your relax and take in the views.

Spinnaker Tower is a popular venue for a wide range of events and weddings. As day turns to night, the floor-to-ceiling glass windows reflects the changing colour of the sky and the twinkling lights of the bustling harbour and Spinnaker Kitchen transforms into a buzzing Bar venue to cater for event guests.
Spinnaker Kitchen & Bar is open from 10am for breakfasts. A range of hot and cold snacks and meals are served from midday. The café also offers a selection of cakes and sweet treats – available throughout the day. Guests are not currently required to book a table for Spinnaker Kitchen’s airy dining room or terrace, making it ideal for a spontaneous catch – up with friends over coffee or lunch. Spinnaker Kitchen also provides the tempting High Teas for guests in The Clouds, at 105 metres above the ground. (High Teas must be pre-booked).
Spinnaker Tower and Spinnaker Kitchen & Bar are available to hire for private events, weddings and corporate hospitality functions.
