About the chef:
Born and raised in Havant, Gary Pearce has forged a career working in some of the finest restaurants across the globe including Noma in Denmark (2 Michelin stars), Old Suis in the Netherlands (3 Michelin stars) and Aqua in Germany (3 Michelin stars). Gary has brought his extensive experience to 36 On The Quay where, as Head Chef, he serves a modern British European menu.
Gary Pearce will be picking up the baton from chef Stephanie Moon who has cooked the Sky Dining menu for the past three years. Moon has had to stand down from the event for health reasons.
“I’m thrilled to be working with the team at Emirates Spinnaker Tower on the upcoming Sky Dining events. The Tower is a truly unique venue and will provide a dramatic backdrop to the dining experience. I’m passionate about cooking with local produce and I’m excited to put together a menu that celebrates fresh food from across Hampshire and the surrounding area.”
Stephanie Moon commented:
“I wish Gary and the Spinnaker team all the best for a great event. I have no doubt Gary will enjoy the experience of cooking at the Tower as much as I have in the past. His Michelin star background, I am sure, will give the diners an evening not to forget.”
