Gary Pearce of popular Emsworth restaurant 36 On The Quay has been announced as the new chef behind October’s Sky Dining events at Emirates Spinnaker Tower.

Sky Dining is a unique fine dining experience, served in a ‘pop-up restaurant’ 100 metres above sea level, surrounded by breath-taking panoramic night-time views over Portsmouth Harbour and the Solent. The seven course menu will showcase the finest seasonal produce from across Hampshire and the Isle of Wight.

Arrival at 7.30pm

£90 pp for canapés and fizz on arrival then 7 course taster menu
£30 pp Wine Flight to accompany the taster menu
(Must be pre-booked)

A selection of beer, wine and spirits will also be available to purchase on the night

About the chef:

Born and raised in Havant, Gary Pearce has forged a career working in some of the finest restaurants across the globe including Noma in Denmark (2 Michelin stars), Old Suis in the Netherlands (3 Michelin stars) and Aqua in Germany (3 Michelin stars). Gary has brought his extensive experience to 36 On The Quay where, as Head Chef, he serves a modern British European menu.

Gary Pearce will be picking up the baton from chef Stephanie Moon who has cooked the Sky Dining menu for the past three years. Moon has had to stand down from the event for health reasons.

“I’m thrilled to be working with the team at Emirates Spinnaker Tower on the upcoming Sky Dining events. The Tower is a truly unique venue and will provide a dramatic backdrop to the dining experience. I’m passionate about cooking with local produce and I’m excited to put together a menu that celebrates fresh food from across Hampshire and the surrounding area.”
