Comedy Club Night – Rob Deering Headlines

Headlining May’s comedy extravaganza is Rob Deering. Rob has mastered stand-up comedy with music, using a guitar, a loop pedal and his voice to create impressive rock and pop soundscapes – and do jokes, of course.

Along with being one of the most in-demand headliners on the UK circuit, he’s toured nationally and performed solo shows at the Edinburgh Fringe many times.

Rob has performed throughout the world, in shows from the Middle East to Melbourne, Shanghai to the South of France, and he has appeared on any number of Radio and TV shows, often using his extensive knowledge of film, popular music and… well, ‘general’.

He also recently ran all over Britain for BBC 6 Music, presenting the podcast Running Commentary with fellow running comic Paul Tonkinson, and fundraising for his favoured charity Parkinson’s UK.

We will also be joined by Julian Deane! Julian is in demand as a comedy writer for shows such as Mock The Week and 8 Out of 10 Cats, and has recently supported comedy superstar Paul Chowdhry on his UK sold out tour, including numerous appearances at the Hammersmith Apollo. You’ll also recognise him from his appearance on the latest series of The Russell Howard House on BBC.

With a free trip to our spectacular Tower before the show, this is a show not to be missed!!

Bar opens at 7pm, comedy from 8pm. Each show includes a line up of three comedians.
