Emirates Spinnaker Tower win Silver

Emirates Spinnaker Tower’s Clouds Café has been awarded Silver at the prestigious Beautiful South Awards for Café/Tearoom of the Year.

Since opening in 2010, Clouds Café has been serving world class high teas and more with the most spectacular views.

The Beautiful South Awards are organised by Tourism South East and recognises and celebrates the achievements for businesses and professionals in the tourism industry over the last 18 months.

Travel journalist and broadcaster, Simon Calder hosted the prestigious awards ceremony at the Grand Hotel in Brighton.

Emirates Spinnaker Tower’s Clouds Café was awarded Silver, Bedgebury Café in Godhurst won gold and Fresco DeliKafessen won bronze. The Café at Fishers Adventure Farm Park in West Sussex was commended.

This year saw a near record number of entries at the Beautiful South Awards. 170 businesses in 23 categories from all parts of the region entered; a 40% increase from last year. They were shortlisted from their entry forms and mystery shopped by expert independent judges. 80 finalists were then announced along with 24 businesses whose achievements were recognised with commended certificates.
