Murder Mystery Evening: The Mystery of Jacob Harley

A brand new evening event for the Spinnaker Tower - full of high drama, fabulous food and of course, our breathtaking views!

As Portsmouth celebrates the 200th birthday of Charles Dickens, the Spinnaker Tower takes you back in time for some 19th century sleuthing.

Join Ebeneezer Crooge at the wake of his former business partner, Jacob Harley, and uncover a murky and murderous plot...

Crooge and his business partner were about to take the world by storm with the invention of their new Rocket Powered Chimney Sweep, when Harley was discovered dead. Whats more, the plans for the invention have gone missing.

Jacob Harley seems to have died after eating Cheese and Biscuits. But who could have taken the plans for the new invention? How does this affect Miss Favershams wedding plans? Why has Fagin been snooping around? And, most importantly, who put cyanide on Jacob’s cracker?

All of these questions and more will be answered our Murder Mystery Show “The Mystery of Jacob Harley”

    Ticket price:  £49 per person.
Includes 4 course fine dining with Murder Mystery entertainment between courses.

Leap into Love at the Spinnaker Tower

The Spinnaker Tower is sticking to tradition on Wednesday 29 February, welcoming ladies to the tower to propose to their partners during an evening entitled ‘Leap into Love at the Spinnaker Tower’.

The long-held tradition dictates that a woman can only propose to a man during a leap year, with many countries pinpointing the day of the proposal to 29 February. With this day only occurring every 1461 days, ladies have a small window of opportunity to pop the question!

Boasting floor-to-ceiling panoramic views of the breath-taking Portsmouth Harbour, the Spinnaker Tower is the perfect place for a proposal. Ladies can get down on one knee as the lights twinkle across the city and enjoy a glass of champagne to celebrate afterwards. The tower is exclusive to each couple, meaning the view deck will be reserved just for two, creating an intimate proposal venue.

A proposal slot costs £40 per couple and includes an exclusive view deck for 20 minutes plus two glasses of champagne to celebrate. For more information and to book, call the Spinnaker Tower Hospitality Team on 02392 857524.
