Portsmouth Historic Dockyard

Aspex Gallery

Aspex Gallery has made its mark with a series of inspirational exhibitions at its new home in Gunwharf Quays and the Royal Naval Museum has changing exhibitions, set against the permanent fixtures featuring portraits of Nelson and the famous Wylie's Panorama.

Blue Reef Aquarium

Visit Blue Reef Aquarium on the seafront and come face to face with sharks, rays and the delightful otters in tropical waters, (particularly good if the weather doesn't live up to your expectations!).

Southsea Castle

Built in 1544 for Henry VIII, the castle was an active military base for over 400 years, defending Portsmouth from invaders. The D-Day Museum next door is Portsmouth's moving tribute to the efforts and sacrifices of the Allies in defeating Nazi Germany.

Kings Theatre

The Kings Theatre, Southsea provides the very best in live entertainment all year round, including top notch musicals, international opera, ballet, rock music legends, comedians, plenty for the kids and amazing pantomimes.
