The Spinnaker Tower is committed to improving access to our facilities by adopting best practice in relation to the facility we manage, the service we provide and the people we employ.
We aim to promote a positive experience to all of our visitors and our staff.
We aim to provide accurate and up-to-date information about the accessibility of Spinnaker Tower.
We aim to ensure that our visitor attraction is accessible to all, including interpretation, wherever practicable, and in consideration of the health, safety and well-being of all our visitors.
Where limits to accessibility (physical or intellectual) are found, we aim to provide alternative and accessible solutions.
We are committed to providing clear and accurate information to visitors, via our website, our literature and booking lines and through the interpretation of facilities at The Spinnaker Tower.
We will maintain an on-going review of these services to ensure these are as up-to-date and accessible as possible.
We will continue an on-going evaluation of policies, procedures and practices in order to ensure, where practicable, the removal of barriers to enable the full participation of visitors with disabilities.
The Spinnaker Tower will also monitor visitor comments, analyse visitor survey forms, and liaise with Portsmouth City Council and others regarding any issues concerned with the accessibility of the Spinnaker Tower. We will regularly review our policies and guidelines related to access for disabled visitors and amend where necessary or where our performance and practice can be improved.
The Spinnaker Tower are committed to providing management and staff with on-going training in specific disability equality and awareness programmes, as part of the overall staff induction and continuing development process.
