Since opening, the Spinnaker Tower has become an icon and source of inspiration for photographers and artists alike.

Images of the Tower are regularly found on photography sites such as Flickr and in May 2007 the aspex Gallery held an exhibition as part of National Architecture Week called Inspire!, exploring how the Spinnaker Tower has inspired the local arts community to create new pieces through both traditional and more modern digital media.
